Your artistic style is really nice. Abstract, yet anchored in reality. Very dream-like and soothing, yet also engaging and interesting. What type of process do you use to create your work? Do you start from traditional sketches or photographs? What type of graphics software do you use?

Hello Tomas!
I am enjoying your blog & art so very much, as well as your comments on my blog. Each time I start to leave a comment on a painting or something you’ve written, I find myself speechless. Your art and words take me to that place beyond words — the most sweet of all places with no location and no name. Thank you!

beautiful words of a soul poet of words and colours under such prophane words “A price is a price is a price…”! Perhaps you understood that the onbly price I am interested in is joy, respect, freedom… wonderful to discover your own art!

Tomas, I was also born in Lithuania
) Nice to meet you!
Lithuania is a special place on this Earth, but unfortunately too unknown.
There have been very deep people there (like Churlenis), and there are some even deeper now…
Are you still based in Lithuania?
LOVE, axinia
Sveika axinia,
it was so fine to hear you are from Lithuania too. May we talk in Lithuanian?
I am still based in Lithuania.
axinia // August 16, 2007 at 08:45 |
No, sorry, to dissapoint you, though i was born and grew up (till 13) there, I can not speak Lithuanian, only some words
But I really like the language, and want to write about it in my series ” beautiful languages of the world” on 1000petals.
I whish you can also write more about your country and so inform your readers – I find it always a pity that so many people have no idea of that wonderful land!..
All my love, axinia

Hi Tomas, I had a fall during my childhood too, while playing myself. My parents bring me to the hospital. The doctor said I was fine, nothing at all. I think you have drawn a serpent, looked like a serpent here, which I do not find it nice at all. Tomas, but I can sense your LIGHT, real expression, I believe, that YOU HAVE EXPRESSED it through your impressive art. I do not even want to take a second look at your piece of art now. I had missed your painting at first, but some people said it nice, and I take a second look, only to discover it looked like a serpent.
But I have not known you only today. I had seen your art and those words I always wrote is always true from my heart and you are special.
Oh dear, I scrolled up and I see the snake again, uncontrollably and this time I see the snake, fiery snake, with red eyes and it is very scary,
I have to go, Tomas, but I have put you in my blogroll. I hope I can forget this scary photo in my memory, forever, it is too scary.
Hope to see more of your beautiful painting and hope that you are always happy Tomas.

Hi Tomas,
Your blog is just gorgeous! What beautiful pictures you have here. I read what you wrote above, and this really got to me, “I walked on the edge of the death, but the miracle has happened and I was returned to the life again …”.
I truly understand who you feel, as I have done the same. Life becomes so very different isn’t it when this happens to you?
Alexandra Snyder // June 27, 2008 at 00:22 |

Have a great day!
Thank you, dear Alexandra Snyder, for such encouraging reply. Your letter made my fay. I would be glad to feed my blog on you blog community, but I am don’t know how could I do that in the concrete. I would be grateful for s bit more detailed explanation- for step by step instruction, because I am writing with the Lithuanian-English vocabulary in hand and my blogging mastery is very weak – I just write and paste in the given window. It would be just fantastic if you could increase traffic to my humble writings. I have no word to express my gratitude for your proposal to help me with my problems. They are more than just great. All my blogs (and Modus Vivendi in the concrete) run on totally voluntarily basis. I get no support from the hospital that life I try to reflect and my abilities are less than just little. I myself live on a disability pension that is less than little in Lithuania and therefore cant register anywhere where is needed to pay though a penny. Dark halls of the hospital for the people with the psychiatric disorders looks quite depressive. Therefore I was glad to gift them some photo stands. It was good to renew them but my camera have ended its days and I have just few photos in my archives.I am impotent to purchase the new camera and therefore I am without the tools for a work at a moment. The only way to renew my inventory is to ask for a gift. However that ’s so hard to do. Art therapy club works in the hospital, but we too have more ideas than possibilities to put them in practice. This letter looks dark. Sorry for complaints, but I mentioned a tiny part of them just for to stress my joy at your letter. God bless you dear Alexandra Snyder. I am eagerly looking forward to your reply. I will try to create my account on your website at the moment and I firmly trust for our fruitful further correspondence. Thanks again. The dawn is is raising.

The post you have posted in one of your blogs, about of looking at ourselves, in a mirror. We all dread looking at ourselves in the mirror, we all look for perfection or meaning in our life. My boyfriend says that looking into the mirror of himself makes him think of the history he will place in this world by what he has done through just existing. Even know we may never know how/or if we were even acknowledged in this world we have all left behind, we always want to believe we have all made some kind of difference…Well, blabbing on, I again I will say that your writings along with your art is incredible !!!
“The bubbles of the rain spring back the puddles on the windowpane, it becomes hard to see clearly, yet the picture looks nicely. Thus what is the beauty? Is it the the alarm-clock or the sleeping-draught? “
INCREDIBLE !!!
