Tomas Karkalas ~ concern in being alive. 2009

Each flower has it’s own face, yet tells the same story. Please read it.  While viewing the artworks you will taste the sweets of beauty…

While it was lovely to live under a charm of colors, yet I awoke to look for the meaning of my being here and now.  Is it not the ridiculous? The fragrance of the art canvases   enhaced my emotions.   Can these  feelings point at nowhere? What do you think?

  5. Hello once again Tomas,
Thank you for bringing me here.
I enjoy visiting and reading about who you are in experience.
It’s a useful tool to be able to understand yourself in these experiences in this depth. I think it’s the real value of why we are here. (I could probably have a much in depth conversation with you over this)
For me I don’t see plants as having a story of their own, as they don’t really have a story to tell. We do by what we think and how we feel. This is what gets rubbed off when we express ourselfs through nature and art. We are telling our own story, through our own experiences. Nature is just there to help us, enlighten us, guide us and remind us, of who we are underneath all that is going on.
It’s lovely that you felt connected to the here and now, through the colours of nature, as that is our world. (Reality)
It’s natural to wake up thinking like so, or wanting to justify our existence-its part of our human trigger(not nature). I feel you already know, when you are among nature and reflect on experiences you encounter. It’s wonderful to express such thoughts as they enable you to understand the very roots of their(your) existence.
I am happy to share with you so truthfully. I know we will benefit greatly from each others exchange. :)

  7. Absolutely…. Though, for me, its the other way round… in fact, a few of the works here inspired a couple of poems that you read in my blog!
Nevertheless, I am really flattered that you think so!

  8. Интересно сделано. Почти за душу берёт, заставляет смеяться над остальной блогосферой. Но несовсем полно тема обозрена. Где об этом почитать подробно?

  9. It is quite upsetting for me when I see someone concerned about being alive, as it goes to show the reality of where are living in this world, and how it has turned out.

  17. Tomas it is both the colour and the texture of this piece that stuns me and gives me the feeling that I could dive through its surface into greater depths of understanding. You are truly an artist of life.
